After a compulsory update last month I've been unable to connect my wireless xbox 360 to ...

I select my network and enter my password and then begin the Xbox Live connection test and it comes out as: Network: Failed, Internet: Blocked, Xbox Live: Blocked.

I've tried clearing the cache on my hard drive, restoring factory settings and manually configuring my xbox's network settings. Up until the update it worked perfectly for over 2 years.

My error status report is:

I bought a black 360 today and it won't connect to the wireless network I've been using on my previous 360. It says my xbox can't connect to the wireless network.

Hi, I've had my slim for a while (couple of years I think) and I am now unable to wirelessly connect to my network.

When clicking to join a wireless network I receive "To use a wireless Internet connection, connect an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to your console."

Any help is appreciated

 

I am having the same problem. I am using ethernet and whenever I try to test it says Network failed, Internet blocked, and Xbox live blocked. I hope someone can help this problem.

 

Have you both gotten in touch with xbox support with this issue though life chat, as I am sure that will help you as best as they can

I have the same problem. I have never had network issues before (4 years) but in the past week or so, it doesn't want to connect or when it does it wont stay connected. Another thing that happened was that I was halfway through a mission and it miraculously
connected but then wanted to do a game update and therefore quit on me. It has also been freezing while loading either a game or during tests. I have never had ANY issues what so ever with my console until now.

I am not trying to play multi-player online just be connected for achievements and updates as well as on-demand TV so servers are no issue, just basic connection.

 

I want to bump this. Having the same issues.

When I start the xbox I have to network test a few times before it works. And when it is connected, it usually takes 5-10 mins before it disconnects again. Got none of these issues with my xbone.

The problem started when I got the latest update. I have tried removing it and reinstalling. Tried deleting profile, cache, resetting to factory settings. Nothing helps.

Microsoft seems to blame peoples routers and modern warfare. I dont own Modern Warfare. And my router is fine. Its only the 360 that has issues...

 

I have the same problem, i tired with wire , with wireless both have same issues. deleted profiles from xobx. nothing worked

Did anyone every get this resolved? I accidentally cleared my cache while offline and I just went to connect to Live to update everything, I got the exact same error status report as OP (Minus the [N]etwork name of course). Any suggestions?
