I don't think it is irrelevant. Can you turn off/standby your PS4 one night, turn it one and continue to play your game EXACTLY where you left it without starting up your game ?

Also you don't need to hold a controller up for face recognition on the PS4. Given that you haven't played playroom, I guess you didn't own a camera.

Irrelevant to who? You I guess but not me.

I prefer to jump straight into where I left off in a game than loading from last check point. Helps when life, yes real life, gets in the way and I need to shut down quickly.

End of the day I chose to be an informed gamer and owned both and picked the one that suits me.

Sorry if that upsets you but I can't help that.

Never once said I owned the camera haha.

Im extremely happy with my xbox one loving the features that are available for it and the kinect has worked exceptionally well for me, theres been a few instances where i have had to repeat myself but thats usually when theres a fair bit of noise in the
room.

There are one or 2 problems with the console well more like annoyances, like having to turn on party chat when you join a party(that should be automatic) but things like that will be changed in the update next month.

The only other problem is that the kinect recognises both me and my dad as the same person, i suppose that cant be helped as i look like my dad lol, other than that im very happy with my purchase, bring on titanfall next month.

@Lloydy, this video from Playstation shows you need the DS4 to log in?? Maybe they don't know what they are talking about too?? Must be MS fanboys haha

Anyway back on topic, love/loving the console regardless of it's flaws. I don't hate the other consoles and will consider getting them again if/when something comes out that I consider must have but until then the X1 is more than delivering for me. Bring
on Titanfall next month!!!!

The xbox one is a wonderful console but it is underpowered graphically as we know. I must admit that graphics mean a lot to me and I want 1080p games like many of you. With that being said one of the bust games that I ever played was Socom 4 on playstation
3. The graphics rendered in 720p and the game play was fantastic. If 900p is all xbox can squeeze out of it's system cool! As long as the game play is fun and the graphics are better the last generations then I can settle with that!

Yeah I don't think anyone here would argue that more power would be really nice BUT that is just one part of the equation.

I buy consoles for more than pretty graphics (I'd just get a PC if that is all that mattered to me), I buy consoles for the ease of use, community (Live/PSN) and exclusive content not found on other systems like PC.

If I loved Sony franchises the most I'd still be a PS owner, same goes for Wii U (grew out of Mario etc years ago though). I just enjoy Xbox exclusives more so that is where I game.

If I was 10 years younger and not married then I'd probably just own every console but I just don't have the time anymore

@Wanarios Well, I believe the power of the cloud was forcefully halted by the reversal of the consoles online ecosystem. Either way, expecting cloud power from games in development 2-5 years before the console even released is delusional.

I bought my X1 on Nov 23/13 (Saturday) on the MS Canada website. It was shipped within 5 days. I can not be happier. To hear people blame MS for just plain out right gripping.... (shakes head)..

Maybe i come across as negative i don't know, but i just state things as they are i do not sugar coat anything after i am a consumer not the salesperson.

But whenever there is a thread about x1 performance ppl jump over bashing and smashing the person complaining even if there are 100 threads of the same, who does not like it can simply ignore it. But everyone seems to be a blind brand ambassador arguing
on how it is all bout the game when actually complaints are raised against multiplats.

I also hope as time goes on X1 will prove it's value, if it does I highly doubt it will be based upon the Kinect it will be based upon the games and online experience.

I respect your opinion. I can agree that MOST of the value on a gaming system will be on games and online experience. I own a PS4, and would have said at both consoles reveal that Sony was going to blow M.S. out of the water this generation. Rethinking it
after months of owning both consoles, my opinion would be Microsoft was smart to include include (Force!) the Kinect with the system; I do believe they could have handled the marketing SO much better than they did. It is widely believed that Sony was going
to include the EyeToy with the PS4 at first. Maybe they should have? As it stands now I know "I" like the Kinect features and there is a possibility they may design a game that takes advantage of it.

Last generation I had 1 PS3 and multiple 360 s around the house. When I start replacing those 360 s with next gen...I really don't know if it will be with PS4 or X1. If you would have asked me that question months ago, the PS4 had the edge.

I know many don't care about this and i respect that, but i believe ppl who do not care about resolution should also respect ppl who find it an issue and want to *** about it, even for 100000 times

For me it isn't that you want 1080p/60fps OR expect it; it is the way you come across. From the posts I've read from you, you come across as ONLY negative; and I believe that is why some have a problem with your posts. I don't know about your financial situation,
but if the X1 is that bad...sell it. Even if it's at a loss, take it as a learned experience and move on. Or keep it just for exclusives. They will make more games that meet your required benchmark; it will take a bit to figure out the nuances of a new system.
The extra $100.00 could be justified just for a better online experience, the GREAT Skype camera, or the convenient voice controls.

On a side note; if I appear to be rambling, it's because I'm operating on two hours of sleep from the night before and have been up 16 hours so far today. Lol. Maybe I'll die laughing tomorrow after rereading my posts. Lol.
