advise movies games or music to friends

it would be nice if you could advise some content you have found to friends in the activity feed. so you can switch directly to the content.

[/quote]I've always liked the music in shooters for that reason...it's like a movie and makes it better to me. Driving games, I turn it off.

As for music in movies...it seems I heard the 1931 Frankenstein movie didn't have music, except at the start and ending. But it's the only movie.

For me,it's already a problem when i can't turn off in game music (Halo).....Videogames aren't movies.

So,background music is useless for me.

I only like (and understand why it's here) music when it comes from a car radio (GTA) or some street musicians (Witcher 3) but doesn't makes sense when music comes from nowhere.(just to copy movies).

Sounds like something a simple message will solve.

 

What the OP seems to be suggesting in addition to recommending content to friends is that when you watch a movie, listen to music, or play a game, your friends can see what it is, and then click on it in their feed to watch that particular movie, listen
to that specific song, or play (or download) that game - which is something you can't do with a mere message. It's a nice idea, I think. They should also implement the 5 star rating system from the Xbox 360, so you can see what people think of specific content
on Xbox Live as a whole.

 

It does that already! Check your activity feed. Say "Xbox Snap Activity... Feed" or find it in Friends. It has your friends' recorded clips, games they started playing, movies they rented or bought if not on DVD/BRD, and their activities on every app.

Feature that I knew about and GG didn't! Wow!

Also, the 5 star rating system is also already there! GG, you need a refresher course! XD

 

I knew about snapping the feed, I just never knew you could click on it. I figured it was just like a play-by-play ticker on a sports program - it provided you with info, but you couldn't actually do anything with it. Besides, I rarely use the feed, which
is why I didn't know about it - I just look at my friends list and see what they're currently doing from there. As for the 5-star ratings, I did consider that it might already be there, but I'm lazy and didn't want to bother checking. ><
