Advice for "new" Destiny player

Hey there,

So I purchased Destiny on launch a year ago, had some fun, but ultimately traded it in before the release of the first DLC.

Now with TKK set to come out, I'm interested in re-buying Destiny, the TKK Legendary Edition, and jumping back in. That leads me to two questions: 1) Why should I jump back in this late into the game? 2) Do you have any advice for someone who hasn't played
in quite some time? Not necessarily game play tips, but more about what activities and missions I should do to get the most out of the experience this time around.

If it helps, I'm rolling with a Titan level 20 with light level 25 (I hear your character level will be your highest light level once TKK releases, so in that case I am at level 25).

Destiny 2 Beta Won't Start

It's 7:30 pm EST and I still get the message 'It's too Early" is this a license problem? or is Bungie not connecting? Any Advice?

 

Bounties always help, especially since sometimes they work in conjunction with each other. IE, 'Get X number of kills without dying' and 'Get X number of precision kills' can usually be gotten at the same time, and are easily taken care of on patrols. Having
teams would probably help as well. Been playing solo for a little over a day total, and gotten to level 28, would likely have gotten much more done and be at a higher level if wasn't doing everything solo, cause at times, things can be quite difficult with
a lone guardian.

As for the Light level, I don't believe that's true, since that makes no sense. Give the release of the Legendary Edition, (Destiny, The Dark Below, House of Wolves, The Taken King and an assortment of extra stuff), Bungie is marketing to players that haven't
played the game yet. Why would you limit players that have already played? Or have new players/characters that couldn't get any levels?
