Advertisement on XBOX Home Screen.

So today I noticed I had an advertisement on my homescreen.

How is this possible?

I Paid a lot of money for the most expensive XBOX at this moment, the one X.

I pay every month for XBOX live GOLD

I pay every month for XBOX Game Pass.

After al the money this company gets from me, they still show me advertisements.

Sorry, but this is crossing a line.

Is there a way to get rid of this? I don't want to have any advertisements on my console.

_EDIT: I'm not talking about advertisements of games, It's literally sponsored content from 3rd parties. Like the ads in youtube video's._

The most annoying ads were the ones where is just kept saying over and over again "Did you know Ninja streams on Mixer" I did not like seeing them every single day because I don't watch him. I do wish there was a better way to not have any ads on your
account or atleast ads that suit you.

They've had ads on the dashboard for over a decade now, from the 360 onward. I'm surprised it's taken this long for one to show up for you.

On the newer dash they only take up a small corner and most of the time you're not on that section for very long.

Hi i agree somewhat, however i doubt this will change as is the same across platforms/devices as you said like youtube.

In addition to this it it is only a small section and is a high value add spot for them.

Yes the ads are not relevant to your subscription which is a pain but at the same time it is sometimes just selling things other than game pass or gold.

There is no way to remove those ads. There are ads everywhere in this world & as long as people spend more time in front of a screen playing games. There will be companies that pay money to have their products advertised where it will receive the most
traffic.
