Advanced Warfare won't Download!

So I pre-ordered the Advanced Warfare limited edition Xbox ONE, I set it up and Immediately put in the code to download the game, The thing is it took 18 hours just to get stuck at 27% That was very disappointing. So I had to cancel the download and re-download
it, now its taking ages on 1% any help? Im just trying to play the game!

I got the Advanced Warfare Edition Xbox One repaired and now it won't let me download the game again. Does anyone know why?

 

Hey there Rook, it looks like you aren't the only one that has been experiencing issues with downloading advanced warfare.

This is a known issue and as of right now they are working to solve the problem.

However, there are a couple things you could try that might get the game to download properly.

Have you tried putting your console through a Power Cycle? If you haven't done that yet try it and then try downloading the game again.

If that doesn't work check out this thread that might have some other useful information on getting the game to download and install properly.

I've tried those steps and it is downloading now but it takes like an hour or two to just go up 1%

It cant be my internet cause i can download other stuff easily.

 

I'm sort of in the same boat. My game freezes loading the Aftermath mission. I contacted Support and they said they would have an answer by today. Still no answer. Boy, am I glad I gave Microsoft $500 of my hard earned money so they could treat me like this.

 

@Rook, has any progress been made since you posted earlier? It looks like some of the downloading issues have been solved and there is only a problem with accessing the Atlas Digital Content pack.

@bacca AW has been having a lot of problems across all platforms from huge lag spikes on ps and pc due to the lack of dedicated servers that were supposed to be in place at launch to freezing issues. Methinks it's more of developers being lazy than a platform
issue.

 

It was taking forever but it was going got to 38% in 2 days and now its back to 26%. Are you kidding me!!! Im tired of this s***

Okay, so let's try a few more steps and see if we can get it moving.

First double check that you have enough space. You'll need at least 50 GB for the download to complete.

Uninstall any unnecessary content if there is not enough space to make sure everything can download.

If space is not the issue then try these following troubleshooting steps.

• First, from the Dashboard, navigate to My games & apps and then select Queue.
  
• Select Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and press the Menu button.
• Select cancel to cancel the download.
• Next, to ensure that your are not experiencing any connection issues, let's test your network connection.
  
• From the Dashboard, press the Menu on your Xbox One controller and then select Settings.
  
• Select Test Network Connection under the Troubleshooting Icon.
• If you receive a connection error, follow the steps in the Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution page for further troubleshooting.
  
• If you do not receive an error, navigate to Settings again and select Disc & Blu-ray.
  
• Under Blu-ray, scroll down to Persistent storage and then select Clear persistent storage.
  
• Once you have cleared the persistent storage, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and navigate to the My games & apps tile.
• Scroll to the right and select The Master Chief Collection under the Ready to install section.
  
• Keep an eye on the installation to see if you are continuing to see a drop in the installation percentage.

I have this same issue with COD. Most I got was 35% downloaded. Tried above ateps, still not working and I'm back to 1%. Getting very upset

 

Gave up and bought on disc. Will be contacting Microsoft for a refund for failed digital copy

 

Microsoft refunded my digital purchase, that was nice. I urge anyone still having this issue to request a refund and just purchase a physical copy. I would also suggest you do as I plan, boycott Microsoft digital copies until they van confirm this will
not happen again

 

i bought COD warfare advanced in the gamestore via my account. It downloads till 80% and then its starting downloading again( till 80 %), and again and again !!!!IM IN A LOOP!!!!!!!!

Whats going on!!!
