Advanced Warfare Season Pass Content Not Accessible By Other Console Users

I purchased the Advanced Warfare Season Pass with the intent of it being a gift for my son who actively plays the game. However, it would appear that the content is only accessible from my profile. The guns still appear as locked in my son's profile, and
indicates that he needs the season pass to access that content. To that, I have the following questions:

1) Is it intended to work this way, that the purchaser of the season pass, I in this case, be the only one allowed to access the content, such as the equipment?

2) Regardless of intent, how can I make it available or transfer it to my son, who is the intended recipient and user?

DLC not tied to system, tied to account...when did it change?

I did not know this either, but to me it would seem logical from an economical standpoint that content you got through a season pass is only accessible by the account who has the season pass.

So I could imagine that only DLC part of a season pass will be accessible to one account and normal DLC bought without a season pass will stay accessible by all the accounts.

But that is just a guess from me.

Actually, it looks like Zombies will be available, but only if you purchase the Season Pass:

After posting my questions above, I went on to chat with an Ambassador. The Ambassador provided the following answers:

1) Yes. The AW Season Pass's content is intended to only be available to the user of the account under which it was purchased.

2) There is no option to make the content available to others, and it cannot be transferred.

The Ambassador also provided a support number to call for additional assistance. I didn't want to have to pay another $54 to purchase the season pass again for my son and I have no intentions of using its content, so I figured that I'd call and ask.

I unfortunately got the same answers. However, Microsoft did agree to a refund so I could repurchase the pass for my son. Merry Xmas from Microsoft.

1) Any user on the same console the item was purchased from can access any maps from a season pass. Any internal game content such as weapons, armor or skins are limited to the purchaser.

2) When did you purchase the pass? If it was just recently you may be able to get phone support to offer you a refund so you can purchase it on your son's account. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

 

You can't its the way works

Ingame items like guns etc only goes to the seasons pass holder as they are account specific

However some ingame items are rarely shareable

Only maps are not specifc

 

I have talked to activision on this. They told me that sledgehammer decided to make all DLC content will be unsharable. All the micro DLC's, such as weapons and camos, have always been shareable on all the other COD's. Explain that one with that answer.
My son just got 7 games for Christmas, all the micro DLC is accessible on my account. When you try to access the same exo that I purchased to test it, it says he all ready purchased it, so he can't even get it if he wanted to. Yet no one on XBOX or ACTIVISION
can explain this. WHY.

Dlc cannot be purchased twice with the same account

You would have to buy it with another profile that doesn't have the content

Very few games actually allow ingame dlc to be shared

Its rare to be able to share ingame or profile specific dlc like ingame guns
