Advanced Warfare: installation disc not working!!!

i bought Advanced Warfare like 2 days ago and i played the mutliplayer to test it, and when i tried to install the disc 2, when it reaches 71% (connected to live) or 77% (offline from live) it says that no device has been selected, can someone help? i tried
everything from every existing tutorial and nothing works! D:

CoD Advanced Warfare disc not working

I pre-ordered Advacned Warfare and since release the game has worked flawlessly on my Xbox one. However, a few days ago I took my AW disc out to play a different game, and when I tried to play it the next day the disc was not recognised. I've checked the
disc for scratches or smudges but it was spotless and I also tried to do the hard reset technique as well, but I still only got 'Do you own this game or app?'. Other people experiencing a similar problem uninstalled the game and then it worked; after doing
this my Xbox attempts to install it, but after a few seconds it tells me that the installation has stopped. All my other games that I have tested with work fine, so I know that it isn't a disc drive error.

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated as AW is the only game that I haven't completed. Thanks!

nevermind, i solved it myself, i just had to install content 1 offline from live, and when it says no device selected, i just needed to restart the installation again using the same device, then install content 2 connected to live.... Thank you guys for
your help... and by help i mean nothing

We've got firsthand experience with this one, and the issue is a little more prevalent than PlayStation's equivalent. If you buy Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on disc, beware not to allow the game's update to download when you first insert the disc into
your Xbox One. We said yes, and the game was unable to install from the disc. It ends up looping between "Installing" and "Queued," occasionally spinning up the disc, then quitting, then spinning again, then quitting again, ad infinitum. In the business, we
call that "pretty whack." If you end up in this situation, we've got a tested solution -- and it works, at least on my Xbox One -- care of Crave Online:

1.Remove the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from the Xbox One disc tray.

2.Navigate to My Games & Apps, then select the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and hit the Xbox One gamepad's Menu button.

3.Select "Uninstall game" and hit A

4.Re-insert your Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare game disc

5.When asked whether you want to install the game's update, select "Update later"

6.The game will install like normal! Hooray!

Engadget posted a solution for the install via disc issue. Haven't seen much in the way of the preload or digital though.

Just to clarify do you have the disc version or digital version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare? Did you happen to install the game to an external HDD?

I had to turn off my router, remove the disc, delete the Advanced Warfare "install", hard boot the Xbone-1, and then re-insert the disc and install offline. Once the offline install was done it downloaded a 250Mb update, so no its not an issue with the
update or their servers, its the stupid Xbone-1.
