Advanced Warfare free xbox one upgrade not working

I still cant upgrade to the xbox one... ridicules.....

Hi there,

as far as I know the addons are only upgradable, so when bought on the 360 they will be available on the One, but it won't work the other way around. The following links only show upgrade:

Is XBOX ONE marketplace the same from XBOX 360?

Some games offer a free upgrade or reduced price to upgrade to the Xbox One but for the most part they use different programming so are not compatible.

Free Upgrade Games:

Destiny (until Jan 15)

CoD Advanced Warfare (I believe until March)

Free upgrades for already purchased DLC

Minecraft

Rocksmith

Pinball FX2

Reduced price for upgrade

Im on chat with them and it doesn't seem like they will be able to get anything going for me. On the website, it say "Not Available" for me.

 

Im just going to try to get my money back and buy the Day Zero version on Xbox One. This is ridiculous.

 

I can't even get in contact with anyone from microsoft or activision....

Last time I buy one of these promotions, and probably the last time I buy digital games. this is unbelievable

 

I did exactly what Malacath did, and I just got a refund. I just bought the XBOX ONE version and I'm calling it a day. I will NEVER do this "digital upgrade" deal again.

 

They did revoke my 360 Licensed copy, just to let you all know that.

You see, that is some BS. Basically they advertised buy last gens copy and get next gens free, but since you just called them and asked for a refund, you are only going to get next gen. What is up with that? They should just give you money back into your
balance, and still keep the license for xbox 360.

I know it's not what I want, but you know what, screw this. I will just never do these digital deals ever again. It's sad too, because I actually started enjoying buying things digital on XBOX ONE. BTW, I'm currently getting 2% download percentage and it's
been almost 20 minutes.

 

I'm having this exact same issue as well.

I bought the base digital download with the free zero day upgrade from gamestop.

Gamestop sent me the code to redeem.

I went to the game store on the 360, and redeemed the code yesterday.

I was able to play fine on the 360 yesterday (except the lag/launch day issues they always have... another subject).

I'm still getting the "Unavailable" on the xbox one as of 5 minutes ago.

I tried to enter the code on the one as a possible workaround, i got the error that it was already used, i guess, as expected.

I'm using the same gamertag as it's the only one I have active on both consoles.

 

Same thing happened to me, downloaded 360 version hoping to upgrade, still nothing.. And the 360 version is bs.

 

This is crap. I want to play on my one!

 

I just want to get the download started
