Advanced Warfare DLC weapons not available to profiles on the same Xbox..

First, let me start by saying I am VERY disappointed in Xbox customer service "Supervisor" named Alex. When I call in to get help, that I pay for with my subscription every month, I EXPECT to be spoken to with respect. I called in because I am having a
issue with my Advanced Warfare DLC weapons. I usually purchase everything with my credit card on file but I just happened to be at Gamestop when I purchased a code for the DLC. I was on one of the 2 profiles that I have on my Xbox when I downloaded the content
thinking that everything was going to work just fine on both accounts but low and behold the weapons are only available on the account that the DLC was downloaded to. So I called into "customer support" to ask what was going on and they of course pointed
blame at Activision. I tried explaining that I do not have live anymore on my other account and that I just want to be able to use the weapons on my primary account. I got the run around about how they can't transfer currency from one account to another (even
though they are both on the SAME Xbox and they BOTH have MY credit card information on them) which is a bunch of BS. So they ended up giving me a credit on that account for the DLC, but what good does that "credit" do me if I don't use that account?!?! I attempted
to spend the currency on live for that account and it wouldn't even give me the option to use it. When I asked Mr. Alex the great "Supervisor" about it, he responded with "let me educate you". Excuse me, you mostly likely have a 12 grade education and you
want to "educate me" on something you read in your Xbox customer service handbook? NO thank you sir. Since November we have had off and on issues with Xbox connection and now I'm having this issue. What do I pay 120.00 a year for? Bad connection and poor customer
service? Xbox seriously needs look more into their crappy employees.

DLC question

i had an xbox one and i played advanced warfare, i bought all 4 map packs and a weapon camo on the xbox one. i read we can get dlc from xbox 360 to xbox one but can i get the dlc i bought on the xbox one onto the xbox 360???

 

Are DLC's transferable between the 360 & One?

I bought Advanced Warfare on disc,and a season pass for the Xbox One,also some skins/exo suits etc.I've downloaded Advanced Warfare onto my 360,can I transfer DLC/skins etc onto my 360 that I purchased on my One?It's the same account.

Sorry to hear you're upset. However, in-game DLC such as weapons and skins usually does not transfer between gamertags. From my understanding there has been maybe one or two instances in the CoD series where it did but it is not the norm.

As for the currency issue, it is true that it cannot be transferred between gamertag accounts. If you had added a Gold membership a transfer may have been possible but it is different with currency.

Finally, if you have an issue with phone support you would need to contact phone support again to lodge a complaint with a supervisor.

 

I can understand it not transferring from gamertag to gamertag if they weren't on the same console. I didn't have this problem with BO2. I can use my camos and weapons on both accounts. As far as calling and complaining, I'm sure there are more than one
guy with the name Alex and he refused to give me his Employee ID number, so I feel like it would be pointless.

 

Yep, BO2 was the one that they could be shared with. Couldn't remember the name.

Don't worry about the name. Notes will have been made on your account with an employee number that they can trace.
