Advanced Warfare Digital Download (Refund)

Had to go out and buy a hard copy could'nt wait 2 days. £55+£55 for 1 game thanks microsoft. COMPENSATE US!

 

i also bought the special edition so i can play day zero... i find it incredible that they didn't have the game downloaded already in the console. My digital download code doesn't work and all they have said is that they are working on it to solve the problem.
Its been hours... its sad that i paid extra bucks $537 to receive only the console with no working game... now by the time they solve the problem and for the game to download if i am lucky ill play on weds. i am about to go to microsoft and return this stupid
console that doesn't even come with 1TB but with less than 800gb. i went to the microsoft event on sunday night to play the game early and just sucks that i have to wait with no answer about this problem. i feel you guys... they really don't care about this
problem but just about the money thats going in their pockets

 

I'm in the same boat, spent hundreds of dollars on the limited edition system with "downloadable" game only to have it collect dust for a couple days !!!! Absolutely ridiculous !!!! Lost the double XP and I'm very frustrated.

 

I'M SUPER *** $500.00 AND THEY CAN PUT A DISK IN THE CONSOLE SET FOR CALL OF DUTY?

In theory you may be able to go through your credit card company (if it's linked to your account) to get a refund but you'll have to act fast. In theory you paid for a digital download that is broken and does not work. The downloads even promised early
access which we are beginning to see was not true and by now is not possible. There is beginning to be enough buzz via the media that this problem can be confirmed. One can make an argument that there is no product and no ability to access it early as promised.
Whether or not the problem was intentional is irrelevant, the fact is you paid for something you did not receive. Act fast!

 

I also pre-ordered the AW console bundle. It arrived at 6:00 p.m. local time on "Day Zero." The game was not pre-installed and the download code does not work. I had hoped to download it this evening and play tomorrow. I took the day off of work tomorrow,
a very rare thing for me. I'm severely disappointed.

 

You really think they are going to be able to make all the thousands of *** off people happy after this? This is a complete joke! I've already tried to re-install the game 3 times! The last time it got up to 25% and it froze.

Only thing Microsoft will do is send us a survey to vent our anger. But no compensation in any way to all the dis-satisfied customers. Microsoft has their money already, so why should they care.

 

someone please tell me how to get a refund on my digital copy. or tell me how to talk to microsoft because this is BS

 

You can do a chat with a volunteer ambassador. During the chat, request that they connect you with a MS representative. The current average wait time is 54 minutes. I know that only because I'm in the "wait" window for that chat as I type this.

 

Same here. No day zero for us. Wait time for customer support 258 mins. Smdh

 

My thing is like..how do you mess this up. Its like a child messing something up. How many launches has cod had. How do you make non working codes and sell xbox ones with out a working copy of the game with the promise of something else. Idk. Its just
sad.

 

If you continue to have this issue, take the 60 minute wait and chat with a rep. Mine was very polite, patient and helpful. She resolved my issue and I am happily, if slowly, downloading now. I can complain about the wait time to get a rep, but I cannot
complain about the service she provided.

 

10 minutes shy of 24 hours have gone by... 60% downloaded... never again!

 

Why did they add it as a digital download? No, can't put a disc in a limited edition console!

It hasn't installed - it says it's downloaded but I can't even try to delete and restart the download to try again before bed. Meh.
