Advanced replacement for xbox one in Aus?

My x1s blu ray drive has been steadily having more and more problems reading discs at the point where it reads hardly anything now. I rang to try and arrange a replacement under the advanced replacement program and it's not currently available in Aus.
The customer service guy was helpful and indicated that unofficially forum chatter was that it may be introduced next month. I see people have sometimes waited a month plus for repairs.

Well why not do an advanced replacement, to tell you the truth I never trust companies trying to repair a broken product. With an advanced replacement you will get a new Xbox one in 2 days in my experience and then you send your broken one back in the box
the replacement came in. They will need a credit card to put a 450$ hold on your credit card but mine was lifted within a week.

NEVER DO STANDARD REPLACEMENT...... Always Advanced Replacement, you will have to call 1800-4MY-XBOX and request the Advnced Replacement because they never mention it.

Has anyone actually received their new working xbox one yet?

 

i wish it was introduced last month . i have had to replace 2 in the last month..the replacement of my original was faulty too unfortunately..currently waiting for the second to turn up...

also they don't replace with a new console either..just refurbished which isn't very good either since the one i originally returned was still in immaculate condition but was replaced with one with several scratches... i did only have to wait less than 2
weeks though for turn around..but still the advanced replaced replacement should be done with new consoles...or at least you would expect it too , since you have to give your credit card details and will charge for a new console if you don't return your faulty
