    Advanced Network Connection Diagnostics... very bad!!


    I am experiencing a ton of lag, rubber banding, packet loss. It has become a big issue just in the last week. It's always been noticeable, however it is getting unbearable.

    I'm on Xfinity (comcast) broadband service with the Blast 50 package... (50 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up). Running speedtest on my Mac (on wireless), on a Win 7 machine (wireless) and Win 8 (wireless extended) all run around 47-50 Mbps Down, 10-11 up. No problems
    there. However, running the Advanced Network diagnostic on the Xbox 1 yields 0.9 Mbps down and 6.0 Mbps up.

    I've done the router reset, direct cable to the modem (SB6121 DOCSIS 3.0) and the results are the same.

    Packet loss around 10% on the Xbox 1, 0% on Pingtest on the computers.

    I've double checked the ports, even put the Xbox in the DMZ on the router and nothing is working....

    Why would there be such a HUGE disparity between the tests on 3 computers and the Xbox 1 all using the same connection (not concurrently)? From what I've read in various forums is that this difference is not uncommon, but I have yet to see a difference
    as large as mine.

    Does anyone have a solution that has worked for them with this problem? I've done the support recommendations to no avail.

    Xbox one fitness app videos completely freezing

    Didn't run into any issues today. Did 4 or 5 workouts, no buffering or anything. Very cool. There was another with the same issue who responded:

    Yup, just happened this morning. I didn't have to end the workout though, I gave it some time, went to the home screen and screwed around on the network screen, went back to Fitness and it sort of unfroze and resumed.

    It also buffered a few times in the middle of videos - very annoying, and really affects the flow of a workout.

    I had my laptop out and Speedtest.net said I had a 26Mbps connection while it was buffering - and the X1's "advanced network diagnostics" (or whatever it's called) said the console was seeing a 12Mbps connection so I don't think it was on my side."

    very bad connection

    for a few weeks the bingo app is not working properly, in the middle of a game you loss your connection...this is very annoying. and it takes forever to start up...please work on it...

    Update: Xbox One built in wireless card / software is the problem. I pulled the Wireless Access Point off of my Direct TV box and plugged it into the Xbox One. This access point connects to the same router and is located right next to the Xbox One in
    my media cabinet. So, for all intents and purposes, this access point emulates what the Xbox One built in wireless does.

    Just the Xbox 1 wireless : .8 Down , 3 up 20% packet loss

    On the Access Point: 37Mbps Down, 12 up 0% packet loss

    So the only thing that was changed was which wireless method was used, and there are dramatic differences. Personally, I think something got royally *** up during the last Xbox 1 update OR the wireless card in the Xbox 1 is either failing or is just inadequate.

    It seems that there is a general issue with Forza Horizon 4 servers, and it is being currently investigated by their team!

    Xbox One Parties won't work RESOLVED

    First, turn off and unplug the console and router/modem for 30 seconds, as that clears cache it may fix this.

    If not, can you go to Settings > Network > Test network connection and Test multiplayer connection and see if you have any errors there?

    Also try detailed network diagnostics and see if you have packet loss or a bad connection if you're on wifi.

    Thanks for the tip but we have booster installed already and frequently run network diagnostics checks and it says that it is connected nad operating properly
