    Advanced Install Gone After "Update"


    Currently on version 2202.1001.9.0 where I guess I'm ahead of the Insider Build, and I've lost the ability to perform advanced installation. Games install to the WindowsApp folder (like they did prior to the introduction of Advanced Install), meaning they cannot be modified as advertised with the supposed update (not that you could really modify them with it to begin with). I tried installing several games, including:

    Fallout 3
    Fallout New Vegas The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Fallout 4 Halo: The Master Chief Collection Minecraft

    Is this a known issues? Also, what's going on with version numbers?

    I'm sorry to hear that Spanger24, lets try this step and see if this does anything.

    On your Xbox one, go to settings> account> remove accounts> remove your account.

    Once done then go to the home screen, scroll to the left and down to the gear and choose restart console.

    When it's back on then add your profile and try to launch Minecraft and see if it loads your save please.

    Advanced warfare tomorrow.

    So it's gone midnight in the UK. Went to launch the game and it is now installing an update!! Aaaargh! I've no idea how big this update is either as it says 100% installed yet it is still updating.
