    So I've been having issues with my XB1 having intermittent crackling sound so I put in for an advanced exchange. It says that if warranty terms are not met I will be charged. So what happens if they say that this problem isn't covered under warranty? Am
    I then charged for ANOTHER XB1 or can I get my original back?

    Tomorrow is the last day before I'm suppose to get an email from the advocacy team- it's been pushed back everytime I called and ask why I wasn't contacted. Been through 3 now and the latest one I received on an advanced exchange was a used one with an
    error code- so if you add the total time it's been well over 3 weeks on just this last exchange. Talk to someone different everytime so they don't care what they tell you. Advocacy team can't respond because they have no solutions- I was originally told
    I was one of very few people having issues but after venting in these forums you just see issue after issue. I've been on live for 6-7 yrs now and I have never had so many problems with a console- everytime I've had to call and trouble shoot or uninstall and
    reinstall my disks I have told them that everything will be cool with me if you send me a working Xbox one- and that's 3 consoles with no luck. So I'm left just waiting still from this phantom advocacy team.

    Problem is Akame that a lot of the time Microsoft aren't sending new consoles but refurbished ones.

    Why hold the price of a new console console if they aren't providing the customer with a new console.

    Hello Decado1, You can read what's covered under the warranty on the page it's purchased. Head there and look it over. Microsoft would not charge you for a new console unless that's what you asked for, just make sure to express that's not what you want.
    You simply want the problem your having fixed under the warranty, if it is covered. Hope this helps!! -Frank

    It's not a problem that's specifically listed in the warranty. In fact no specific problems are listed there.

    Then give xbox support a call and they will tell you the specifics of your warranty and what it covers. The Xbox support phone number is 1-800-4-MYXBOX. That should clarify what you need to do. When u call listen for them to say xbox one and select that
    option, then proceed to listen and press the corresponding number for hardware, then ask to speak to an agent. Should easily be able to tell you what your next move is Advanced Exchange :) good luck!

  7. Get ready for a wild range of answers depending on what agent you get. Some will tell you it's hardware, some will tell you it's software, some will tell you their computers are down, some will tell you that they just have no idea. Some will tell you Advanced
    Exchange is a "loaner" system where you will get your original Xbox One console back once it's replaced, some say that is not true. Some will tell you that it will be fixed in the next update. I spoke with six different reps, and got four wildly different
    answers to the same problem. Good luck.

    The Advanced Exchange is a great option. When you receive your replacement console, you will want to immediately pack up your broken console and return it ASAP, following the instructions included in the replacement package.

    You would be charged the price of a console IF Microsoft does not receive your broken console within the specified time-frame. Unless you tampered with your console, you won't have any issues. In the event they determine you have tampered with the console,
    and thus voided the warranty, they would simply return your defective machine, and expect you to return the replacement they sent you. My guess is that you have not tampered with the console, so no worries. Advanced Exchange :)

  9. Unless the Advanced Exchange they send you is a refurbished brick that doesn't even get past the initial mandatory update.

  11. KLRSKIR? A couple days? Wow, I guess you aren't very knowledgeable about the process. Just as they have told me.. 7-10 Business days to process after they receive the system. That is two weeks just for them to acknowledge receipt after you drop off the
    system to be shipped back to them...If you are lucky. Quit the lies... It's sickening. Call them up and ask them the policy for yourself... Start a chat and find out for yourself. Xbox received the Advanced Exchange BRICK that they sent me on the 29th
    of January. They still have yet to acknowledge receipt. Wake up and smell the coffee... Let's call detestable support for what it really is...

    So you got nowhere huh? No case number/reference number nothing? What did they say? Nothing? So far what I read is FedEx screwed up, they need to fix it. Don't give up, be persistent, and polite, and speak to a supervisor or manager.

    Well I would call them. Forget the email, get on the phone and ask for some assistance. 800-4-MYXBOX. Explain the situation and that your working with the Advocacy team but still haven't seen a resolution.
