    Hello everyone Advanced Exchange = 100%! :)

    After all that I've gone through (2 defective DVD Drives on the Original Xbox and 2 defective DVD Drives / 4 RRODs on the Xbox 360), I would be super ultra angry if my Xbox One broke.

  2. I had a few broken controllers once - one with a bad d-pad and the other with a sticky A button. My brother contacted a custom controller designer online via email that had controller parts and asked him if he could fix it by replacing the parts at a discounted
    price - the seller agreed in the hopes of making a couple of new customers in the process. Instead of paying $60 a piece to replace each controller, we paid $30 to have both repaired with only about a week or 2 turn-around time (and they're actually better
    than they were when we got them new, since he tightened up the internal components as well). Advanced Exchange = 100%! :D

    @GG, it's a hold on a credit card, basically securing MS payment IF they don't receive the faulty console back... nothing is billed out less you pass the 14 day window.-

    @Boas...... how many stores have a 1 year policy? If your console dies 8 months in, you will be contacting MS, not the retailer (here in Canada anyways)

    @kingvas in the uk you have a standard one year warranty on all electronic products and if you buy from a store your contract is with them not with the manufacturer. Im 9 months in, if my xbox dies tonight i will have a new one as soon as the store opens.

    If previews killed something then surely it would do it for every console that is in the preview?

    Games I can understand being different, since everyone is at different points. But consoles are identical on a hardware and software level, so why would the preview kill one console and not every single one that took that update?

    Oh, I see. I have my current warranty under Walmart until August 2017. The preview program killed your console? Wow, it's like when the preview program killed my gf's gamertag. She could not sign in for 3 months on her gamertag so she spent those 3 months
    on an alternate account. I had to play through Borderlands 2 twice with new characters. Borderlands 2 was so worth it though! Anyway, thanks for explaining that to me lol.
