Adult live account shows up as child on console

I changed my sons child account to and adult and it appears that way on his xbox.com page. The upstairs Xbox One console accepted it (he can connect to EA Battlefront) but the other XB1 console still shows him as a child account. I deleted it and re added
it but nothing changed. His profile info is correct online so I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

Hey Primexception! I would suggest adding the child account as an adult to your family. To do this, login with your dummy parent account and access your family page at

Accounts.Microsoft.com. Using the adult account, remove your child account, now add it again as an adult. This way that account should be able to change their own settings. If this doesn't resolve the issue please post back and let us know!

I am been communicating with Microsoft Answer Tech via chat and have been redirected here with the reference number reference
[Mod Removed].

The Answer tech support said "You may put on the post that you are having error in accessing the settings part of your Xbox account and you have already tried adding a dummy parent account and it still did not work".

I don't think you can actually change an account to an adult. If the accounts birthdate was set as a child account, you can not promote that account to an adult until, at least in the US and Canada, it reaches the age of 18. What you might have done, is
give his account permission to play that game.

Actually, EA has a restriction to not allow child accounts to play their games online and Star Wars Battlefront is an all online game. Regardless of the parental restrictions on the child account, EA has enabled that restriction. Sorry. Your child will
have to sign into an adult account or wait until he turns the legal age in your region to play that game.

Each child account Has to have an adult account attached to it.

Have you tried signing into your account at account.microsoft.com/family and seeing if it is showing up there as a child account under a family with an adult account attached to it?

But i am not a child! And i have no child account, my ms-account is adult,
only on the XBOX360 my account is child, not on the XBO not on MS.

And ich have since yesterday two errors 8C150009 and 801540C.
