    I downloaded a game on my windows phone and it is linked to my sons Xbox now, he is using my user profile. Do I have to go to my profile on the Xbox to set parental controls or how do I best keep him from using my profile?

    I need help, I have a child on an adult account, and I need to restrict his Internet Access to that of a child. Not sure where to go in my account to restrict Adult Content. Please help.

    hello everyone ! I have a very bad problem . my child created an account for himself and signed in with that account to xbox app in windows 10 and created a xbox live profile . but when he went to xbox.com , he cant see or edit his profile because the account
    is parent restricted ( he isn't 18 years old yet ) . therefore he cant access groove online player or even xbox forums ! . I tried to add him as my child in microsoft family but nothing changed . when i sign in with my account and go to content access , my
    child profile don't shown . what can I do ?? I want to remove all of this protections for my child account ( with adding myself as adult to him account or remove adult need in that )

    No you cannot set limits on a parent account as it is an adult account. you cannot change an adult account to a child account either. Any limit you set will have to be a physical limit you cannot use anything software wise since they are an adult.

    Always recommend starting a child off as a child account.

    Having a child account limits you from accessing certain features on the account so in order to actually remove the account you would have to add an adult account linked to it

    Convert regular account to a child account OR set time limits on regular account

    You would have to create a new child account for him in order to add limits. He would have to start over. It is not possible to transfer anything between accounts and it is not possible to put limits on an adult accout or change an adult account to a child.
