Adult and child accounts

So rather recently my xbox is atomaticlly changing from an adult account to a childs account all on its own. Its a bit ironic though. I first thought it was the xbox its self and i rebooted it and all that fancy stuff but i was still having problems. I took my account off and added it again and it seemed to have worked. However every day now for the past week its kept doing it. Id open a any game and it will be fine. For example im a forza fan and it allows me to accses the action house and all but say an hour or two later its inaccsesable due to account being changed to a child accounts. Ive chnaged the password as well but no matter what i do my microsoft account atomaticlly changes to a child account randomly. Ive had my xbox one s for 3 years now and ive never had this problem before. My girlfriend has the xbox series S and my account is on that and i was having the same problems on there although her account was working fine. Thats when i knew it wasnt the xbox it was my account that was having the problems. I cant find how to troubleshoot my account and its really annoying. Ive looked it up on google and it seems no one has had this problem either so i have got no answers. How do i fix this?

Is the account in question a child's or adult's account? If its a child account you may want to change it to an adult account and give it a shot.

Adult accounts cannot be made child accounts. Only child accounts can be converted to adult accounts. Not the other way around.

There are three accounts in total, two adult, one child. The info I gave previously was from my adult account.

I'm just checking his child and our adult statuses.

My account is Adult and his is Custom (Child setting interfered with his gaming).

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in changing a child account to an adult account. Once an account has been established as a child account, it cannot be changed to an adult account until the child turns
18. The best way to manage the child account is to
add it to a family. This requires an adult account to add the child account to the family. Once the child account has been added to the adult account's family, the child account will be able to access online features. Be sure to let us know the results!

You can change a child account to an adult account, but you can't change an adult account to a child account. In order to manage them, you would have to create new child accounts for them.
