    Adult Account Email Gone Forever


    Hi, I've been on Xbox for a while now and I recently got an Xbox One. When I turned it on I was excited of course but when I tried to buy an expansion pack for Forza Horizon 2 it said that my Gamertag was a child account and not an adult account. Naturally
    I went over to the security settings and tried to change the account back to an adult, to my surprise it said I need a parent to do this and I wasn't able to change it. This is where I had trouble, I remembered the parent account email and the backup email
    so I could reset the password but when I tried to reset it it just said that the email didn't exist, this
    [Mod Removed] me off and I realized that without the parent account I couldn't buy anything on my One, but I could still buy things on the 360. Sorry for the long post, I was just wondering if I could have my account switched to an adult acccount
    because of the parent email being deleted forever. Thanks!

    It would be gone forever for all uses because at this point the new email that you entered in is considered the primary email for that account.

    If her email was a Microsoft server email (@hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @msn.com, @live.com) unfortunately there would be no way to recover the email once it is taken off of an account it would be gone forever.

    would there be anyway to recover it in general or is it gone forever, permanently, for all uses?
    It would be gone forever for all uses because at this point the new email that you entered in is considered the primary email for that account.
