Adult account can't buy M rated games

Hi, i have my account set as an adult and have the content restrictions turned off but it says im still not old enough and have to "give this code to an adult" any clue how to fix this? I'm trying to buy The Division 2 while its on sale but i can't because
of this.

The parental setting to allow your son to play M rated content do not allow him to download M rated content. It's the same as when your in a store. You can buy an M rated game for your son, but he can't buy it himself.

You can purchase the content on your (adult) account, and he should have access to it from his account.

Like I can play m rated games and watch m rated things it’s a child account with adult account access

Changing the age of an account after setup will NOT make your account an adult account

As others mentioned you have to contact support and go thru the proccess

I moved the birth year to 2000 but still no luck.

The birthdate you entered when creating the Xbox live account will never change. You can change it in your Microsoft account details but it will never change the date that Xbox sees. You would have to wait for that date to turn 18 to change to adult.
