ads not working

    I do not subscribe to MS Premium so when I play Mine Sweeper I get ads about every 3rd game or so. For a couple of weeks every 2nd ad comes up as a blank black screen with the message "Want to disable ads? Tap here to upgrade to the premium version of Microsoft
    Minesweeper" across the bottom with an "X" in the upper right hand corner. There is no way to get past this screen. I have left it sit for over a minute and the only way to get out of it is to close the whole window. Then when I go to play minesweeper to
    continue the game I am playing the black screen comes back. Sometimes I have to wait until the next day to get past this issue.

    I would show a screen shot but it does not seem to be a way to add it to this post.

    I am sorry to hear that.

    To address the immediate issue, please, temporarily turn off the Ask to Buy option and ask your child to attempt the purchase again.

    Sign in to your Family page with an adult Microsoft account.

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/

    Find the child's name and select More options > Spending.

    Under the Ask to Buy section, switch Needs organizer approval to buy things to Off.

    You can switch it back on right after.

    Too many adds. They shouldhave used that space in a different way. Period.
