Ads not working stops game from continuing

Discus and support Ads not working stops game from continuing in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I am running Windows 10 Home build 18363 I play Microsoft Minesweeper but I do not pay for it so I get ads in between games.     Ads not working stops game from continuing


    I am running Windows 10 Home build 18363

    I play Microsoft Minesweeper but I do not pay for it so I get ads in between games. I do not mind this.

    Now when I get an ad instead of the ad running I get a black screen with the following along the bottom:

    "Want to disable ads? Tap here to Upgrade to the Premium version of Microsoft Minesweeper"

    The screen also has an "X" in the top right corner that does nothing. The only way to get past it is to close the game.

    This used to happen maybe once every few days. It is now happening every time an ad tries to run and I can no longer play Minesweeper.

    I'm seeing the same thing. It seems to be tied to the ads, when there are ads they just play and the game continues. But no ad and it just locks up and stops, but the game play clock continues which will add up to HUGE time, when the actual game play time
    is only an hour or so.

    Hello,

    Once you have been removed from an XBOX Live Gold Family Pack, you cannot be re-added into that same family pack for 5 days. This is a limit put in place to stop people from continuously adding and removing accounts for a day so people can get their account
    to GOLD status to download demos, or access content for a short period of time.

    It stops people from trying to circumvent the system. There's unfortunately no way around it and you would need to wait out the 5 days.

    So far they continuously update the list frequently. Every game that is added as a Games with Gold game is added to the list too, so there are at least 2 added each month along with any others that might be. There's currently no work on if it will end anytime
    soon.

    They wont be adding any more games to the list, Microsoft have stopped working on backward compatibility.
