    Ads not playing on MS Solitaire Collection and Casual Games


    Want to play MS Solitaire however when I open any of the games the ad comes up starts to run then stops and says tap to play, I tap but it just goes back to tap to play ad does not run and all I can do is exit can't play games without ad coming up and not running, does this on all games.

    Yes, through the Xbox app on my PC but not the MS Solitaire & Casual games app don't know why but playing through Xbox works for me so no real problem just something MS may want to look at.

    I already did 2 repairs, and 2 resets also was signed into Xbox, discovered I can play through the Xbox app but can't play through the MS Solitaire & casual app that's where the ad problem occurs, this is something new since downloading Windows 11 had MS App set as default when I problem occurred but now have Xbox app as default.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Did you mean that the issue happen to all of your Microsoft Casual games? Make sure that you're signed in with the Xbox app on your PC.

    Please also try to reset your games by going to your PC Settings > Apps > Apps & features > select each game > Advanced options > Reset.

    Don't forget to check for your Windows updates and all available updates from the Microsoft Store.

    I see. Thanks for confirming.

    You may try to reset the Microsoft Store cache: Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run dialog box, type wsreset.exe, and then select OK.

    You could also reset it via PC Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced options > Reset.
