    Adjusting Party Chat Volume

I'm trying to use my own pair of headphones to play on Xbox. I have them plugged into my TV so I can hear the game audio. I then have my party chat audio playing through the TV, thus through my headphones. But, I can not find a way to adjust the party
chat volume while it comes out through the TV. Normally it's just the buttons on the controller headset, but I can't seem to find a way to do it through the TV.

    :)

  2. Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One?

A few months ago, there used to be audio options under the system tab for Xbox One, but it was taken away. In these audio options, you could adjust the game volume and party volume with a slider. The closest thing I can find now is when I pick settings,
display & sound, volume, and then chat mixer. The options in this chat mixer are - mute all other sounds, reduce the volume of other sounds by 80%, reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%, or do nothing. If this chat mixer is for party chat, I can tell you
right now that it doesn't work. No matter what option is selected, the party volume to game volume is always the same, with no difference, the game is loud and the party is quiet. Is this chat mixer for the Mixer feature, because there's already audio options
for that, so I wouldn't think so. So again, if the chat mixer is for party chat, it doesn't work. Where can I adjust how loud the party volume is compared to game volume for my headset?

    Best wireless headset for Xbone?

Nooo these are actually wireless. The USB dongle plugs into the xbox and thats it.

Main reason i went for this headset was because of the volume dials. Im able to change the party and game chat as they each have a different volume adjuster. No more adapter crap.

    Hey Ka Kase,

While you are in a party, press your Guide button and head over to the System section (should be the right most option). There you will have various sliders to configure what audio you wish to give priority to. Let us know if this helps!

These sliders don't seem to be there. I would just like to adjust the party chat volume like I would on my controller, but through my TV speakers.

  7. Hi there Ka Kase,

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with audio settings for a headset.

In order to receive the audio settings through the Xbox, you will need to plug in the headset to the controller. Once you connect the headset to the controller you will be able to change any audio settings such as the Party chat volume. Unfortunately, when
you connect the headset to the tv you will only receive the audio from the TV.

What would you like to see added to Xbox 2020?

I love that you can change the volume of party chat, game volume and spotify. That part I would lile a little extra added to is being able to adjust volume of individual party members in party chat. Some people have very quite mics or jsut speak louder
the others so would be great to tweak it when in a party.
