    My Xbox Live ran out and I bought an Xbox Live Gold Subsciption Code. I try to redeem it and it either says "unknown error has happened" or "Try again later". I need help

    It will just be added to your current subscription, and stack. So in your case, should you do this, you will have a total of 16 months or so of Xbox Live Gold remaining. As previously stated you can stack up to 3 years of Xbox Live Gold.

    Just make sure that you are redeeming the Xbox Live Gold code on the account you wish it to be added to.

    It will always convert any prepaid Xbox Live Gold time to Game Pass Ultimate time. Also any future added Gold Live or normal Game pass time.
