    Adding Typing Language on Xbox One X or Series X console


    Hello,

    This question has been asked a few times but nobody has answered it. The most recent reply to an archived thread (2019) stated that someone knows that Japanese can be added as a typing language on Xbox consoles but they weren't sure how. I know that there are now plenty of languages available but I need homophonic Russian. I use a keyboard to type messages in game-chat and I really hate the normal russian keyboard layout. I don't have a windows but I will literally buy one to fix this. Thanks.

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    A One X and a Series X are not the same type of console. If you bought the Series X version of the game, you would need a Series X console. Since you have a One, you would need the One version of the game.

    I have an xbox one s but my console recognizes it as an xbox one and doesn't allow me to install xbox x/s games

    S/X games are for the Series S/X which is a different console. If a game is made for a Series S/X, it will not work on any type of One.
