    Adding Security is killing me


    Hey guys and girls, i am having a major issue in regard to my security. When my xbox is turned on and i want to connect to xbox live using my account, i get a tab that comes up titled Add Security. I have seen this tab many times before and i have managed
    to get rid of it and continue on with playing online. But for some reason this time it will not go...I have added my phone number and have made an entirely new email acount to "add security" but for some read it just sends me straight back to the "add text,
    add email, add phone number" and this is my issue. i am unable to go and play online because it will not give me the option to exit the tab.

    They say it adds security, well maybe but it maybe the thing that stops me from playing an xbox.

    Xbox I don't like this anymore. I've been trying to get online but when I get on it say's add security guess what it doesn't work it doesn't let me login. Now, I can't download my account or anything.

    You're having issues logging in? Have you contacted Phone support or schedualed a call back? Did you Update the security proofs?

    Sorry to hear it. I get that fairly often. I just press B to cancel the request and then sign in again. See if that works.

    I have changed both my Microsoft e-mail and password because my e-mail was for an old e-mail address that was no longer used. And I have set up proofs already; I see them on my Microsoft account on their website.

    Hey dude! Sorry to hear about the proofs troubles. Have you tried changing your Microsoft Account password?

    Also, have you went to live.com and added proofs, such as a phone number, or alternate email?
