adding players without setting up account

hello . i am try to play games with my family which play the xbox on rare occasion and trying to add them as players on sport rivals , but i am having massive problems adding them as it seem xbox wants me to add them with accounts making me add emails address
usernames sign in details etc which is a load of old faf for an hours game time. i had xbox 360 and added them a profile each and was simple why is it now so complicated on the xbox one . i did go through the effort of adding my daughter an account and then
could not get both of us signed in at same time??? what is microsoft playing at ?

why is it so complicated it seems to clever for it own good!

Plex Now Free Xbox One & PS4

Hi, I have a plex account already set up on my laptop and use the media player app currently to navigate to the plex server and then navigate through lots of sub folders to get to my media. Does this mean I can now use the plex dedicated app and my existing plex set up without paying monthly?

Can't add payment option when everything is correct

You could try adding the card at commerce.microsoft.com. If that doesn't work then I would recommend setting up a paypal account using your bank and then adding the paypal account at commerce.microsoft.com.

(without knowing your exact game) When you add another player or controller you should just be able to add the second player - the xbox will pop up "who are you?" then you can select Guest.

It's already 2023 AD! Microsoft will still have such a domineering team! This team can freely ban your account without any evidence or explanation! Any player's account has the possibility of being permanently banned. If a player pays to purchase a game, the account will be banned and the money will be wasted. How can the interests of players be protected?

I was able to change the settings by using my brother in law's xbox by adding my account to it and the privacy settings showed up on the console. I can see the chat now in my game. Since I did that, the settings now show up on PC.

So without a console to work around this blank settings issue, and not affected there as well, your screwed until this fiasco is fixed.

Just a theory that would depend on how the accounts are set up... but if the children have their own MS accounts, then wouldn't they have to be adult accounts? And if you added them under your Xbox One's Family section as your children, maybe it's trying
to apply child account settings to non child accounts? Hard to say without knowing how the accounts are set up on both sides, but a factory reset should be more than enough to sort out any possible glitch I'd think.
