    Changing xbox gamertag email associated is already on a different account

    My xbox gamertag is on an old email address I no longer use. The email I am using already has this randomly generated gamertag associated with it. How do I go about changing my old email to the new one? The FAQs all seem to about just adding a new email
    but it doesn't account for the email already having a registered gamertag.

    consant "Improve your security" pop up

    I am getting sick of seeing a pop up telling me to improve my security by adding a new email or mobile number, I have done this 3 times and I STILL get it pop up, whats the deal with that? why should I keep adding new details or re-adding stuff I have done
    previously? I am getting sick of it, please sort it out.

    If the email that you're trying to add is an outlook address or from a Microsoft domain I'm sorry to say but is not possible to add them as an alias because they're already linked to a Microsoft account.

    Please keep in mind that Xbox profiles are already linked to a Microsoft account even if you create a brand new Microsoft account

    Have you removed the profile with the original email from the console and added it back with the new email?

    Im having a problem with my email and i really want to change it, Can i change my xbox live account email to a different email? Please help.

    Have you tried the billing site?

    I just added a new email to my account the other day...and there is an option to remove either one of them too.

    Try adding the new one, wait for the confirmation email that validates the new email and go back to the site and you should be able to remove the old one.
