Adding my account back onto the xbox one

I'm unable to add my account back back onto the xbox one as I get the error code 0x80040019. I have reset my router, hard reset my xbox and unplugged my power cable but it made no difference.

Hey Adam,

Thank you for reaching out. We understand the console is giving you a hard time when adding your account. Make sure your network is okay by running a

connection test. Once you have confirmed the network is not causing this, try performing a

factory reset as follows:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select the option allowing you to keep your games and apps. Let us know how it goes!

Try deleting your account from the console, do a hard reset, and adding it back onto the Xbox One. Hope this helps.

If you have bought xbox live and then it didn’t get added to your account then remove and add your account back onto your xbox. Worked for me
