    I bought my son XBOX 360 4g. I want to add memory. Are the hard drives for the slim the same as for the 360 ? On all the websites I find they look the same.

    need more info is it the 4 gig model or is it one with a hard drive like the 250 or 320. if it is the 4 gig model you can plug in a flash drive up to 32 gig up to a total of two for 64 gigs total. Or you can add a hard drive they come in 250, 320, and
    now 500.

    I have tried numerous times to format my extern to my Xbox one it meets all req and when I hit format it goes into the naming portion and before I can do anything there the display disappears and all I get is the spinning loading ring and I can't get rid
    of that unless I quit the settings app help

    The basic requirements for storing games and apps on an external drive are: Has capacity of 256 GB or more, and Uses USB 3.0.
