Adding Kinect Voice Commands via Smartglass

It was cool. I couldn't careless if this was ever added though. With voice commands and Smartglass I only see the dash when it turns on.

You are unable to use SmartGlass to navigate within Xbox Fitness. Instead you will need to use a controller and/or Kinect (either gestures or voice-based commands).

Personally, I'd like to see Smartglass being utilized more than what it is. As for Kinect, I prefer using it in conjuction of the controller (voice commands, head tracking, etc), rather than a Kinect only game.

I think thats a little misunderstanding. The One can not react on the remote commands from your cable or tv remotes at all.

The One is able to send these remote commands itself and act as a remote control that way. So you are able to use smartglass as universal remote to control your devices via the One or use voice commands to do the same with the kinect. But you cannot use
your remotes to do anything on the One.

Of course you can use your remote controls to send commands to the respective device even if the One is configured to control them. It's more like you can choose to control your TV and cable box with the One (with Kinect, Smartglass or controller ) AND/OR
your usual remotes.

Kinect voice commands is region based due to accents being different for every region you can look up the officially supported language for kinect for your region

The only way to have english voice commands is to have an English speaking region but you may have issues due to the region locks on most triple a titles and their dlc

Although they added new regions and languages last update
