    I have a Xbox One and I made my two kids (both under 12 years old) emails and I'm trying to add them to my Microsoft Family but an error message comes up every time I try to join. How do I add their accounts to my "family" so I can make them their own
    GameTags to play xbox games?

    Hi StephanieBury,

    Here are the steps to create and add a child account as a family member to your adult account

    Since they will be using the same console and logging in separately, you can set the console as your adult account's home console, so that any child account that logs in can share the games you (the parent) purchase and don't need to buy it twice. More information

    You will be able to share the following content with anyone who signs into your Xbox:

    • Your Xbox Live Gold subscription
    • Games and downloadable content from the Microsoft Store

    You were the one that added your son to your family group or the kids' mother did it?

    Have you tried to sign in with her account to see if she can edit the kids permissions and consent?

    My son has managed to disconnect his xbox account from the family control screen in the xbox. He is now able to look at allsorts of stuff unsuitable for kids through his account. How can I add him back to the parental controls on the xbox. There appears
