Adding further Devices to turn on and off.

Hi, just re-setting up my Xbox after a firmware update and having an issue connecting the three items of my home theatre to the Xbox, ie amplifier, projector and sky box. So far have connected the amplifier and the projector as the TV. Previously I had no
problem connecting the third unit but so far have not been able find an option to add a third unit.

Any suggestions out there?

No more Device Control

xbox no longer turns on or off my tv via voice. In device options the actions to toggle are exactly 'NOTHING'. I have tried hard booting / removing and re-adding the device. Both are things found in searching. Any further idea's that I can try? This
seems sudden as last update was a month ago so I'm finding what / if anything has changed.

Turning the console off is not the same thing. You can also double check that the membership was added at commerce.microsoft.com. Again, if it shows that it is supposed to be there then you'll need to contact phone support for further assistance.

Disconnect all USB devices from the computer and proceed with the following steps.

Download the following registry file from here. Double-click and accept the UAC prompt and then apply it to your registry.

Press the Windows + R keys, type devmgmt.msc. This opens up the Device Management Console.

In the Device Manager, click on View > Show hidden devices. This will display all

the USB drivers installed on the system.

In the same Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click on the devices under this category and click Uninstall and then OK to remove the drivers.

Now uninstall all devices under Disk Drives that you know are not present, and Storage Volumes.

Restart the computer and your computer will try to install the drivers you deleted.

You can additionally launch Windows Updates (Start > type Windows Updates >

Press Enter) and run updates to install additional drivers.

Insert a USB at this point to confirm if it’s been solved. Move to the next methods if the issue still persists.

Note: Also visit your manufacturer’s website on how to update your devices BIOS.

Sorry for the confusion. In your household kindly turn off or do not use any possible devices where your account may be in-use just to test or to isolate the issue further.

Same issue on multiple consoles. Tried all the suggested fixes - hard reset of both devices, reset family content settings, turned content restrictions on and added at higher age, turned restrictions back off, removed/re-added child to family, etc. Currently
just allowing each game as needed, using "Always" allow for each game....temp fix.
