    Adding Friends


    I'm not able to add friends on my phone, or when i logon on a computer. I get this message -

    "Sorry, we can't add this friend right now. Try again in a while. You might also want to check your privacy settings."

    I don't have any friends added, have recently started playing, help?

    Sorry to hear you are having a problem. Out of curiosity do you have 100 friends on your friends list. Here is a

    Hey there simsfreeplay246!

    Are you trying to add friends through the Smartglass app or through the Games app on Windows Phone? If you can try the following steps and let us know the results! Adding Friends :)

    • Xbox.com Friends (Search for a friend and then click 'Add friend' on their profile)
    • Xbox One console
    • Xbox 360 Smartglass app
    • Xbox One Smartglass app

    I have the same problem. Tried to add friends, using xbox.com, but get this message: "Sorry, we can't add this friend right now. Try again in a while. You might also want to check your privacy settings."

    I'm not using any Xbox console, only playing some games on my Windows phone.

    Hey there, Gunta86! There are a few troubleshooting steps that Mister Beep posted above to help you out. This thread is a bit old. If those don't work for you, please post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed.

    Have you been able to find the profile of his account and can't friend through his profile link? Or are you just unable to find the gamertag?
