    Adding commentary to Game DVR clips with headset


    I'm currently trying to decide between PS4 and Xbox One. One of the factors I'm considering is, as I have a 6-yr old who's obsessed with Stampylongnose on YouTube and wants to be able to make his own Minecraft
    videos with commentary, is it possible to add commentary to game clips via the headset mic, or is that only possible via the Kinect?

    Basic transitions for the DVR function

    Hey guys,

    (Hopefully MS reps read this,)

    With the DVR function, which i will add, is a great feature & enjoying capture epic & funny moments with BF4, with the multi-trim option, can we have basic transitions between the clips?, i see we have basic skins, which is awesome....i think
    by adding some sort of transtitons ( similar to windows movie maker have) that would be a great addition to the feature. ( i upload straight to youtube via skydrive )

    The quality from the headset for doing commentary is pretty good i must say..

    April update messing with disk drive

    is there any solution to the game dvr recording clips even when then game dvr isn't slected to record clips

    can anyone hlep

    I tried adding commentary using Kinect and it failed. I really hope you can use the mic as it would be better. You can only make 5 minute vids with the game DVR.

    That Stampylongnose has a lot to answer for. I really hope your son never finds ssundee as his voice is so annoying.

    If your son plays on PC send me a pm as I have a server that my kids use. Currently running FTB whatever that is (more tools to build with I think)

    well one clip in my sig is from a quad feed in black ops, theres no way it can be deleted because theres no added commentary just in game sound etc.

    Well now I have the added insult that I can't use Game DVR to record clips because Twitch thinks its broadcasting and isn't, even though I quit Twitch, Game DVR thinks Twitch is still broadcasting :(

    The GameDVR is so bad!

    There are about 5 clips in there using Elgato at 1080p the rest are all 720p using Game DVR or Blackmagic extreme at 720p. The game DVR is fine for what it's purpose is. Still which clips are which?
