Adding child to family xbox settings

Thanks for the reply! And sorry for the late response . I'm actually short on time all the time ....
I tried to follow the guide, twice.... With some days between because it was frustrating.

I see the kid on my account and I can manage this account. If I switch over to XBox the kid vanishes. As if it was never there in the first place.

So at account.microsoft.com I do have this kid, under account.xbox.com/settings I have this kind not.

Sorry, can't explain this any differently...

Btw. I have two kid accounts active, and one works just fine. Only the second does not. Is there a "one child policy" at xbox?

There isn't a "one child policy", you can add as many family members as you wish.

Double check your child's profile settings, especially the birth of date. You can do this here:

You provided the guide related to the family settings and child account managing.

Is your account child account?

Was your account added in family?

You can also change the settings on Xbox One once the child has been added to the Admin account family. Just have both accounts signed in, while under the Admin account go to Settings > Family > Then choose the Child Account to Manage Settings.
