    Adding an account after factory reset


    My son did a factory reset on his Xbox One because he was having issues with games freezing up and communication issues. Now he can't add his account back in. He has done all of the different power cycles. He also has done the factory reset again. It still
    won't allow him to add an account. All it does is bring up the spinning wheel and then goes back to the "add an account" screen every time. Can someone please help with this issue?

    When I faced this problem, a factory restore solved the problem. This only happens with my account, in others I could log in normally. Try to log in with another account or change connection. If not, a complete reset may solve the problem.

    Hey there Craig,

    Sorry to hear you are unable to add the account back onto the console, go ahead and turn off your console and unplug the power, also unplug the power from your network hardware and leave both devices off for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes turn your network
    hardware back on and wait for your services to be back up, once your services are back up turn the console back on and give it another try.

    After all those things we can conclude that there is a problem with the account. You did a factory reset, and removed and added the account again. Have you tried log on another xbox?

    Hey there!

    If your factory reset your Xbox One, it's likely you don't have the parent account added to your Xbox One yet. Try signing in with that account first to add it to your Xbox One. After it's added you should be able to sign in and change your parental settings
