Adding A Friend Request Feature To Xbox

How can I stop these spam and malicious accounts from adding me as a friend on Xbox? Even after the fact that I have reported and blocked them multiple times? Is there a way that I can stop these accounts from adding me every single day even when I have
them blocked and reported multiple times? It is really annoying. Xbox should consider adding a friend request feature.

They do have a friend request feature on the 360. I'm not sure what the decision was for the follower system. Suggestions like this should be posted at https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/wiki/ideas

You can also change your privacy settings to help cut down on others from doing that.

That's not a bad idea. You may want to share that on the Xbox Insiders subreddit and see who all likes it. The Insider team reviews it from time to time and may well act on that suggestion if a lot of people want it.

On Xbox One, a friend is anyone you’ve added to your friends list. Adding new friends on Xbox One doesn’t require that they send a friend request first.
When you sign in to an Xbox One console, your Xbox 360 friends will automatically appear in your friends list, as well as in your followers list. If you accept a new friend
request sent from an Xbox 360 console, you’ll see them as both a friend and a follower on Xbox One.

However, friends who’ve been added on Xbox One won’t automatically show up on your Xbox 360 list. If you plan to play with them on your Xbox 360, you’ll have to send a friend request through your Xbox 360 console. Once they accept,
you’ll see them in your friends list on both of your consoles.

If you go into the 360 game menu on the xbox one you may be able to see this.

this need to be added why was it removed i have 400 friends im not removing my friends 1 by 1 until we get this update this is really difficult for people with lots of friends

Friends work differently on the One than on the 360. The One has a follower system so as soon as they add you as a follower, you are automatically added to their list. It doesn't send a friend request and they won't receive a friend request from the 360.
You may want to try adding them via the Xbox app.
