adding a debit card

was trying to take advantage of a sale for 1 month of xbox live gold but i needed to add my card first. i hit "Add a payment option" and i started to fill out the info for my current card.

But when i get to the bar to type the address, city, and zip code, it has a previous address of mine already listed.

And THIS is where i get stuck because i can't use the bumpers to move the "|" typing thingy to the end so that i can delete whats already there, however i can type in front of and delete what i had JUST typed, nothing more..

And of course i cannot complete this action without being able to change the address or else the information is "Invalid".

Hey there Bacon! Normally error codes like this have 8 digits. Can you confirm what you are seeing and let us know? Also, you can always start with our Payment Method Guide (forums.xbox.com/.../153161.aspx)

We suggest (to minimize the hassle) to
Request a Callback from one of our Xbox Billing Specialists since we can look into possibly modifying the address on the account. If that seems like a hassle in itself we suggest modifying the address on your end through
Account.Microsoft.com. Whatever you decide be sure to let us know how it goes so we can verify this as resolved!

Not sure what's wrong with your bumpers, but ideally you should be able to use them to move your cursor (the "|" thingy). Else you can use Xbox App on your phone, and connect your Xbox to it, and then use your phone to type.
