    I have a Xbox account and want to add my 5 year old but cannot. The FAQs on this are wrong, I can get as far as adding family member when prompted to add email/phone, I press B button they left stick down but there is NO option to get account, just 'get
    new email.... For a 5 year old?! . Any solution?

    Since the One is not set up to work with offline accounts, every account has to have an email address attached to it. Even for a 5 year old.

    You will need to create a profile and once you enter your child's DoB, you will then have to enter your email address and information. Creating a profile is easiest by doing it from the console. :)

    You would need to figure out what the email address for the family that he is already a part of remove him from that family then you would be able to add him to your family.

    If you are not sure what account was used when setting up his account and added to the family you can contact xbox support and if they can get into your sons account they would be able to tell you what the email address is that is associated with the parental
    account currently on his account.
