  1. Added my son as a family member and friend on Xbox Live, can't change his privacy settings

I want my son to add a friend in Minecraft PE (Android), so I created an Xbox Live account for him (AlbercikW). Since I've provided his real birthdate, he's not allowed to add friends. So I added him as my family member on my account ()
to change his privacy settings so he can do that. However, I can't, because, he's not displayed as my family member in the privacy settings

    as shown in the instruction
    .

Add member to Xbox-Family without xbox

    Hi,

I don't have an Xbox. But I need to add my son - who is a member of my Microsoft family - to my Xbox family to be able to change his privacy settings.

(He wants to share his minecraft PE worlds with his friends. He can't, because of the privacy settings. As a minor, he can't access the settings page, himself, and is asked to refer to me. But currently, he doesn't show on my privacy settings page, as he
is not member of my Xbox family. I double checked: he is member of my Microsoft family.)

    Any idea, anyone?

    Thanks!

Changing adults account holder gamertag to be childs

    Hey there!

You can manage your sons privacy and online safety by adding them to your family on Xbox One. You can view more information here:

    support.xbox.com/.../add-family-member-on-xbox-one

Once you've added him, you will be able to control all of his Xbox online and privacy settings.

Let me know if you need anymore help!

Can't accept friend request or add friend on children's account

My son said he logged on and went to My Account, then Security Family and Forums, and Xbox 360 settings, but Xbox won't let him to change the settings. Xbox said like this:"You want to change your privacy and online safety settings, but you’re unable to
    make the changes."

Then i tried to log on with my account (Parental Account). Then i went to My Account, Security Family and Forums, Xbox 360 Settings for my son's account, and i have changed his Xbox 360 settings, then i clicked on "Save" button. But when i check his Xbox
360 Settings, the settings i made was gone, and the settings turned back just like before i change. I tried 5 times but it still the same. And my son still can't accept any friend request.

How to add a child's profile without creating a Xbox Live profile

I believe that to add a member to the Family they need to have an Xbox Live profile.

However, you could then change the parental controls to restrict what your son could do - eg, not allow him to play online, not able to accept friend requests or to communicate with people other than friends.

Xbox One S Mic Console Issue

My sons xbox console has a mic with a line through it next to the time. [...] My 10 year old son is going crazy
    Hello Rashell,

When your son's account was created, did you correctly use his own email account and correct birthday?

If so, the Live service sets automatic online and privacy settings for children and teens and restricts some features.

    Please go to
    https://account.microsoft.com/family
and sign in with YOUR OWN adult Microsoft Account, and check that your son's Microsoft child account is added to your Microsoft Family.

If your kid is a member of your Microsoft Family, go to
    https://account.xbox.com/settings
and again sign in with YOUR OWN parent account.

There select your kid's account, and change his online and privacy settings to your liking.

You need to allow voice communications at least with friends only.

That way, your child can talk to known people in their friend list, but can't talk to "strangers from the internet".

But you can set it to any way you seem fit for your child.

By allowing your kid to use the voice chat feature, the line through the microphone should disappear.

Also make sure that the microphone itself doesn't have an activated mute switch, which causes the microphone to have a line crossing through it.
