    Add TV function to Controller


    Xbox One needs to add more IR controls to the controller. I want the ability to use the controller triggers as channel up and down buttons and the shoulder buttons as volume up and down. Those additions would make the experience much more easy to use.
    Not sure if this is the right place for that feedback, hope Microsoft is thinking in this director for a future update.

    While watching TV, SmartGlass provides simple remote control functionality of play/pause/skip etc. as well as control TV volume. We are investigating additional functionality to add in the future.

    OTA TV DVR

    Not at this time. But I am hoping that xbox one OTA TV accessory being released in October will add TV DVR functionality. As soon as this happens I am cancelling my cable. This would add real value to the gold subscription.

    The new Tivo OTA DVR being released on 9/15 at Best buy will add this functionality for $50 + $15 per month.

    Yeah, my TV has adds in the menu. It's a pretty cool tv. No on the infrared though. Wish it did since low light kills the camera functions.
