    "Add payment option" bug


    Hi there,

    As support chat is unreachable and nobody called me when scheduling a support call, I'm reaching out to you good people.

    I am unable to buy anything on the Xbox marketplace. Every time I try, I get a "you don't have any payment option", which is wrong. Anyway, I click on "add payment option" then get redirected to a contact information form with the country stuck on "Canada",
    where I'm not anymore as I lived there a few years (and I've changed the country in my account beforehand). I fill the various fields anyway, click next and get an error.

    Everything seems fine everywhere else : right country, right payment option but that Canada trip seems to have screwed my account somehow. Anyone from the Microsoft team here to have a look please?

    can you double check what country it shows on this page:
    https://live.xbox.com/Account/BillingAccountInformation


    If it still shows the wrong country then your account may still need to be Migrated to the correct countryThe steps to do that have certain limitations and requirements, for more information see this page:

    try adding a payment option to your account via
    http://account.microsoft.com
    if you use the same credentials (email address, password etc.) as your Xbox Live Account it will be the same account.

    If that doesn't help or gives errors, the error information might help if it does not then it is best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone) via
