    Add-ons won't install on xbox one


    Add-ons from Conan Exiles won't install.

    The game itself I didn't purchase, I play via Game Pass Ultimate.

    The add-ons however I have payed for with the same account I'm trying to play them with. This issue has only occured recently.

    I buy the addon, it appears to be downloading/installing but won't appear in-game and when I check the add-on's status from the store it says "you own this" and "add-on not installed".

    So far I've tried a hard reset of the console

    I've cleared the cache

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled the problematic add-ons and out of frustration I just uninstalled all 13 add-ons I have purchased for Conan Exiles, including the Isle of Siptah expansion and after reinstalling them every one of them now says "addon not installed"

    I've been wanting to avoid un- and reinstalling the whole game since it's quite big and my internet connection is terribly slow which means it would take a whole fricking day.

    Anybody else been experiencing the same issue?

    Does someone have an idea of what else I could try?

    Hello there! Thanks for the reply.

    I followed your instructions.

    Afterwards I uninstalled and reinstalled all the add-ons and they actually took a lot longer to download this time.

    While it still says "app not installed" when I check out each DLC via the shop, everything now seems to be appearing in-game

    so thank you very much for your help!

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    Also, if you have an External hard drive and you’re trying to install the add-ons from there, kindly unplug the install the add-ons on your Internal storage directly.

    Restart your internet devices, clean your console's MAC, restart when prompted, and try again.

    To clean the MAC follow this path
    Settings>general>network settings>advanced settings>alternative MAC address and click clear and restart the console when prompted.

    If the problem persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>
    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    ***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***
