Add-on issue

Different studio, different game, different focus on achieving dlc content. Frustrating? Sorta. I would also consider raising the issue with Ubisoft to see if maybe we've missed something.

What i dont get is it hasnt done this before, like with Black Flag. Its always been unlocked right away and i can just equip the swords/outfit/ship cosmetics, which is what it all is. It doesnt even show up in my inventory as an unlockable thing either

however i will continue to play the game just to see if it shows up at all🙂

A lot of the time, extra content unlocks over time - not immediately. I would suggest continuing to play the game, and it will likely unlock.

Have you checked to see if the item is suppose to be recovered in game somewhere?

With some dlc you have to be a certain character level or reach a certain point in game to unlock the content. There is also special vendors in some games that give you the dlc content.
