Add needed funds to account

Hey guys/girls, I wanted to buy something for $4.99 on the Xbox One marketplace. I have $3.26 worth of reward credit currently in my Xbox account, going to expire soon. Is there a way I can use that $3.26, and add the left over amount from a credit card?
I'm tired so I worded that badly, lol.

How do I rent a movie on Xbox 360

I want to watch a movie but I only have 6p in my Microsoft account.

I have a valid PayPal account connected to my account.

When I click on Add Payment Option... then...Manage Payment Options the only option available is Add Credit Card, which I do not want to do.

How do I pay for renting the movie with PayPal or how do I add money so I can pay with my Microsoft account.

The last time I needed to add funds Microsoft was still using points.

Help with Pay Pal...

I am looking to add Pay Pal as a payment method and use the funds that are available in my PP account to renew my gold account. When I try to add PP it prompts me to add a CC or debit to pay instantly. Can you use the funds in your PP account, it seems
like it is forcing me to use a CC or Debit? I have a positve balance in my PP account with more than enough funds to cover the purchase.

To do a split payment, you need to start the payment with the credit card and it should ask if you want to use the remaining funds in your account first. This does need to be done through the console and there is some content that cannot be purchased this
way, so there is a chance it could charge your card for everything.

 

Great, answer, but is there any specific content that doesn't work? Trying to buy minecraft for $4.99. Thank you a ton though!

 

Unfortunately there's no list. The only thing I really know of is Halo Reach if I'm remembering correctly. It seems to be kind of rare that it doesn't work.
