    Add Money & Family Verify NOT WORKING


    I work in IT but this setup of Microsoft reminds me of Blackberry days, what a mess...

    I've setup a parent account and child account and linked to Microsoft Family. Credit card setup on parent account however when I attempt to add money to the child account it fails with, "Contact us at Microsoft support. We're having trouble processing your payment and we'd like to get it sorted out." I'm assuming this may be caused due to Microsoft requesting verification on the child account at xbox.com - which I've done multiple times, created a Windows user specifically for the child account and signed in with the child Microsoft account then, as instructed by Microsoft, browsed to aka.ms/familyverify whereupon a login window does appear and go through the process of logging in. Doesn't change the verification request at xbox.com. I removed the child account from the Xbox entirely and signed in again, this also does not change the verification request at xbox.com. I tried this last week and thought perhaps there's a delay of sorts but today the issue persists.

    Can you try remove the child from the family group then re add them. Then try to spend or add money.
