I have to say I hate when people correct spelling. I know I make errors as does everybody who posts here. This is a video game forum it's not that seriouse.

I just assume they could be intoxicated like most people who I play with.

 

Serious doesn't have an "e" on the end.

 

English is my first language and my grammar and spelling is decent (I think), but if I'm not sure I will ask my good friend called Bing.

 

And I couldn't care less if theres a "e" at the end. I don't post to impress you with my spelling. Correct away I don't care just stating my opinion which is get over it.

People who want to be teachers there is a place for it it's called the classroom this is not your classroom and nobody cares.

I don't think thats a spelling error thats a whole different ball game. But I think some people here grew up in a bubble.

@GG. I think all you will do is end up putting people off from coming here talking like that lol, you might as well just come out and call them an idiot. A word of advice. If someone come's up to you in the street and asks you a question, do not answer them
by telling them how to speak proper English........ There's a 50/50 chance you may end up on your backside

I think correcting someone in person is socially awkward unless it's your child and you are trying to help them to be successful in life and not come across as a doofus in the written or spoken word.

With that said, I don't think gg did anything wrong. He's a teacher, so isn't it to be expected of him? I'm not a teacher, I'm a troll, so isn't it to be expected of me? Suck it up and grow some thicker skin if a correction here or there bothers you.
People insult me here all the time. If it bothered me I would change and try to be really super sweet and syrupy but then I'd just be lying to myself and others.

 

It wouldn't hurt to be a little colloquial every now and then and it is the weekend. Two weeks ago a friend sent me a message when she came online she txt me "hey", I said "hye" she said "I think you meant hey not hye lol".

I would consider adding if you're into Minecraft and Zoo Tycoon and Forza 5 and still play more on Xbox 360. Also have Kinect Sports Rivals NFS Rivals PowerStar Golf COD BF4 Titanfall Watch Dogs and Halo Spartan Assault only got because it was free. Have
a full Xbox 360 friends list and I'm not going for a full Xbox 1 friends list as you can have 1,000 on it. I remember a poster called Halo Jolly said in one of her posts she would never have 1,000 friends. If we played the same games or talked/txt with each
other and had some common interest, I'd be happy to add.

 

What that geek attempts to do in real life is his own business. This is not a classroom and these people are not his students. It's basic common sense that you leave your work at work. So is it expected of him? Honestly, yes it is. But that's only because
he has that obnoxious personality, social illiteracy, and no knowledge of when to quit that has got him added to so many block lists.

 

Could we please get this back on topic for the sake of the OP?

I'll also add that correcting someone on their spelling and/or grammar on a public forum with users from all over the world is a bit counter productive. Illustrated well here I believe. Carry on, be productive and happy gaming!
